I usually get their strawberry milk tea as well as the Honeydew Milk Tea! Definitely give them a try! ”

Their fruit drinks have REAL fruit bits so it tends to be on the sweeter side, so definitely lower the sugar, or it'll taste like flavored air juice! Omg if this place had matcha w/ yakult it would be sooo yummy! The service is super fast! They have a kiosk to order from. And the inside is super spacious with lots of seating. ”

“ I've been coming to Moo Tea for awhile especially for their Peach Tea with Yakult foam and lychee jelly. I think this drink tastes delicious, just the right balance of fruit and green tea with small chunks of real peaches included in the drink. I like that it uses real fruit and does not have that artificial syrup taste. And if you're a fan of Yakult like me, the additional layer of Yakult foam which is creamy and tarty, really blends and balances well with the sweetness of the drink. Service has consistently been friendly and accommodating. I find the prices reasonable as well and comparable to other tea places in the area. They have weekly BOGO 1/2 off deals so look for those. The ambiance is comfortable. There's also a seating area that's pretty quiet and if you just want to sit in and relax or do some work or hangout and chat with your friend. Parking is easy and there are a good amount of spaces. ”

“ My love for the purple yam fresh milk here knows no end. Outside of Hong Kong boba stores, this place serves the freshest and best purple yam fresh milk in the SGV. Nothing beats a healthy amount of freshly pureed purple yam with refreshing fresh milk mixed together to make a perfectly (and naturally) sweet drink. I usually order my purple yam fresh milk at 25% sweetness with less ice and no toppings, just to enjoy the fullness of the purple yam. It's usually never crowded here, so you won't have to wait for long. This place also serves as a very nice quiet study spot, so if you're looking for that in the area you've come to the right place! ”

“ I typically come here for one drink, which is the peach milk tea w/boba! I'm not really a milk tea person, nor a boba person, but this place is pretty good! It's a bit on the sweet side...so make sure to get 50% sweet! 75% is still so darn sweet. Today I switched it up and tried the passion fruit tea, and it wasn't too bad. Overall, the store is very clean and the workers are very welcoming! TIP: they do a BOGO 1/2 off if you pay with cash! ”

“ San Gabriel Valley is home to tons of boba places and the competition is fierce! We stopped by Moo Tea during our trip and was pleasantly surprised by how this mom and pop shop fared against competition. Let's get to it. FOOD We ordered two drinks: their specialty the Purple Yam Milk, and then the Peach Tea with Yakult Foam. The Purple Yam Milk is their #1 drink and for good reason. It's very refreshing for the soon to be summer heat and they don't skimp on the purple yam. Just be careful if your stomach is sensitive to dairy, because this is a lot of milk. The Peach Tea with Yakult Foam is also very refreshing and perfect for a hot day. Between these two, I actually would prefer the Peach Tea since it fits my palette better, but it's all up to you! SERVICE There were two people working when we were there. You can either place your order at the counter or you can use the kiosk at the entrance. Menu is located above the counter and they also have screens on the side that show their top drinks. When your drink is ready, they will call your number and leave your drink on the counter. Service is a bit on the slow side, maybe 5-10 minutes after you order. Some people didn't hear their number being called as well, so make sure you check if you didn't hear it called! COST By far, the best part of Moo Tea is the price! The purple yam milk is only $5 for a tall drink! There is no other place that can match these prices. Get pre-2020 prices here before they raise their prices to match the area! They also have weekday specials. Can't remember what it was, but I think it was buy one, get a second one 50% off. Great for high schoolers in the area. SETTING Based on what I've seen, it looks like the owners are revamping the place. There's a nice art wall for you to take photos by. Each table also has a cool Moo Tea acrylic piece to help your photos (it's what I did). Lots of lighting here and about 4-5 tables to relax while you drink your tea. Plenty of parking too since it's located in a shopping center. Overall, Moo Tea is a very affordable boba place amidst the heavy competition. Give them a try! 4.5/5 ”
